Samantha Stevenson utilizes her background as a Certified Public Accountant to counsel clients in estate planning, business law, probate and litigation. Her law clerk experience covers case topics, such as fraud, child support and custody, social security, consumer credit, real property, personal injury, and civil procedure.


Areas of Practice


Samantha attended SMU Dedman School of Law where she participated in the Innocence Clinic and International Law Review. Following her graduation, Samantha completed judicial clerkships with the Eleventh Court of Appeals of Texas and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Through her clerkships, Samantha gained experience in a wide range of civil and criminal matters arising under state and federal law in the areas of social security, real property, tax, contract, child support, child custody, oil and gas, personal injury, consumer credit, civil procedure, and constitutional law.

Prior to attending law school, Samantha earned her CPA and worked as a forensic and integrity services accountant at EY where she analyzed complex financial problems arising in the areas of federal grants, insurance, and government investigations. Samantha’s background uniquely positions her to understand the varied needs of her clients.
