Legal Administrator

Pete Hammerle, using the entreprenurial and business skills developed by his 11 years of corporate sales and his Pepperdine MBA, helped launch Hammerle Finley Law over 35 years ago.

Although not a lawyer, Mr. Hammerle has been responsible for the successful operation of the business side of the Firm, which proudly provides the community with superior legal counsel and services.

Mr. Hammerle began his pursuit of a career in the business management field at the University of North Texas in Denton, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1970. In 1981, he went on to earn his Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Throughout the years that he spent earning both of his degrees, Mr. Hammerle was recognized numerable times for his perseverance, practical knowledge and dedication to the legal field. First elected as Student Senator in 1968 at the University of North Texas, he moved on to become Student Attorney General a year later. Mr. Hammerle also served as Student Liaison for building operations and direction of the campus, and excelled in engineering and leadership within the prestigious Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.

Mr. Hammerle complemented his higher education with a successful career as Regional Sales Manager over the Midwest, Southwest and West regions for ARA Services (now Aramark). During his time with the multi-billion dollar corporation, he was received numerous awards for outstanding achievement in sales and the forging of profitable contracts in the college, university and hospital sectors.

Following the completion of his formal education and work experience with ARA Services, Mr. Hammerle quickly became deeply involved in his community. In 1992, he was appointed the Denton County Chairman of the Ross Perot for President Committee and was responsible for the organization of the debate between incumbent State Senator Bob Glasgow and his challenger, Jane Nelson. In 1993, Mr. Hammerle served as co-chairman of the Lewisville Lake Safety Committee alongside State Representative Burt Solomon. During this time, he also held the title of President, Co-founder and Race Chairman of Texas Hydrofest, Inc.

From 2000 to 2009, Mr. Hammerle forged a lasting connection with the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Lewisville, serving as both a valued member and Stewardship Chairman within the Vestry. During this time, he continued to do his part to help his community in other ways as well. As a founding member and grant chairman of the Board of Trustees for Texas Motor Speedway Children’s Charity, he successfully coordinated the TMS/NASCAR Charity Ride Fundraiser and received the President’s Award in 2010 for his services.

Mr. Hammerle’s extensive list of achievements also includes an award for Outstanding Service and Dedication to Denton County, presented by the Denton County Judge and Commissioners in 1996. During his time as a member and chairman of the Denton County Citizen’s Budget Advisory Committee, Mr. Hammerle was recognized and awarded for his outstanding work there as well on multiple occasions.

Understanding that a career in this field required the implementation of practical, hands-on experience, Mr. Hammerle has spent years serving the Dallas/Ft. Worth public through his positions on a variety of committees and boards. For almost 30 years, he has been a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, sitting as Treasurer and Chairman of the Small Firm Section during this time.

In order to ensure Hammerle Finley Law that consistently provides the industry’s best service to its clients, Mr. Hammerle continues to pursue his education with courses that include Effective Business Management Principals, Financial Management, Professional Selling and Law Office Personnel Management. He is Co-founder of the Alliance Bar Association and a member of the State Bar of Texas in the Legal Administration Section.
